She used the word ‘gifted’ to describe team India’s limited overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma. Apart from this, she described former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni as a ‘legend’.
Earlier, many cricketers have used the word ‘legend’ in praise of MS Dhoni as the two-time World Cup winner has played an important role in achieving many unprecedented achievements for the Indian cricket team as a captain and a wicket-keeper batsman.
Harmanpreet Kaur has so far played only 2 Test matches for India. Both Indian Women and England Women play the only Test match at the County Ground in Bristol from June 16.
After this, India’s women’s team will stay under strict quarantine with the men’s team in Southampton. Significantly, after a long gap of seven years, women’s team will play an international Test match. The two teams will play three ODIs and as many T20 Internationals after the lone Test.
