Vijayawada: Curfew imposed in Andhra Pradesh extended till June 10th, says Chief Minister’s Office. Cm Jagan Mohan Reddy has imposed the curfew on May 3 which was for two weeks and then it got extended till May 31 due to the rising Covid-19 cases.

Despite restrictions, there has been a surge in Covid cases in the state. The lockdown extension days after Deputy CM K Narayanaswamy reviewd the situation in the state. After consulting other cabinet ministers, the CM took the decision of extending the lockdown.
