IPL 2021: Australian PM Scott Morrisson replied to the comments made by cricketer-turned-commentator Micael Slater. The Australian lashed out at the Australian PM on Twitter after the former imposed a travel ban on India by the Australian government.
Michael Slater, who is part of the commentary team in the Indian Premier League said, “If our Government cared for the safety of Aussies they would allow us to get home. It’s a disgrace!! Blood on your hands PM. How dare you treat us like this. How about you sort out quarantine system. I had government permission to work on the IPL but I now have government neglect,” on Twitter.
The Australian PM has said that ‘it is absurd’ while replying to Slater’s comment on Nine Network. “This is about getting more people home safely, preventing the third wave here in Australia. I think the likelihood of any of that (jail term for those not abiding by the travel ban) occurring is pretty much zero,” Scott Morrison said.
